Our Objectives
Wildlife Trusts Wales is working hard to protect nature in Wales for the future. We have three core objectives: demonstrate how nature works, inspire people and communities to take action for nature and to champion nature and our work through advocacy.
People's Postcode Lottery
Players of People's Postcode Lottery support our work with wildlife, wild landscapes and local communities across England, Wales and Scotland. Funding in Wales goes towards inspiring people about our marine wildlife, re-introduction of Beavers in mid-Wales and re-connecting people of Cardiff about wildlife.
Brown trout
A fierce predator of small fish and flying insects, the brown trout is widespread in our freshwater rivers. It is has a golden body, flanked with pale-ringed, dark spots.
On land
The UK is one of the most nature depleted countries in the world. The Wildlife Trusts are at the forefront to reverse wildlife declines.
