The Wildlife Trusts believe that development should not come at the expense of our natural environment. All development, be it housing, commercial or infrastructure must be designed and delivered in a way that contributes to nature’s recovery, not its decline.

Take on the Big Wild Walk for nature and climate in October

Wildlife Trusts Wales have a number of partnership projects which are bringing people closer to nature, and securing a Wilder Future for wildlife in Wales.

In October 2024, global governments will be coming together in Colombia to discuss the nature emergency. The conference, known as COP16, will review how well each country is doing against targets set in 2022 (at COP15 in Canada) to bring about nature's recovery by 2030.
