From 31st March to 13th April, take on the challenge of walking 3km while fundraising for wildlife along the way. With the support of Aardman and your favorite Timmy Time characters, you’ll not only enjoy the outdoors but also help create a safer world for hedgehogs, badgers, and more. Wildlife Trusts Wales represents the five Wildlife Trusts in Wales working together in partnership to protect wildlife. The Wildlife Trusts in Wales collectively speak on behalf of more than 24,000 members and manage over 200 nature reserves, covering more than 8,000 hectares of prime wildlife habitat, from rugged coastline to urban wildlife havens.

Wildlife Trusts Wales is working hard to protect nature in Wales for the future. We have three core objectives: demonstrate how nature works, inspire people and communities to take action for nature and to champion nature and our work through advocacy.

From 2024 to 2026, Wildlife Trusts Wales is delighted to be receiving support from the Welsh Government through The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

During week four of 30 Days Wild 2025, The Wildlife Trusts are encouragaging everyone to get creative with nature. Find lots of ideas as to what you can do - whether you've 10 minutes, an hour or more.

The work The Wildlife Trusts do to help people connect with nature and the wildlife around them. This is through providing access to nature, nature and wellbeing, volunteering, education and learning, events and training.

The Wildlife Trusts are working to help species pushed close to extinction and to reintroduce missing keystone species.

Volunteer to help wildlife in your local area. Opportunities range from community gardening, species surveying, caring for nature reserves, dry stone walling, hedge laying, habitat management, to running Wildlife Watch groups. You could volunteer organisational, IT, administrative or financial skills too. Both regular and casual volunteers are needed.
