COP16
In October 2024, global governments will be coming together in Colombia to discuss the nature emergency. The conference, known as COP16, will review how well each country is doing against targets set in 2022 (at COP15 in Canada) to bring about nature's recovery by 2030.

Our history
A history of The Wildlife Trusts and how it all began. In May 1912 banker and expert naturalist Charles Rothschild held a meeting at the Natural History Museum in London to discuss his idea for a new organisation to save Britain's best places for nature.

The UK is one of the most nature depleted countries in the world. The Wildlife Trusts are at the forefront to reverse wildlife declines.
House sparrow
