Wildlife Trusts just can’t function without reliable transport to get staff and volunteers to reserves.

Thanks to this support from players, Brecknock Wildlife Trust has been able to continue its important work to manage its nature reserves in the area. The Trust celebrates its fiftieth anniversary this year and in recent years has also been able to fund a new office building and purchase a replacement vehicle for staff to get to reserves.

Thanks to this funding, staff and volunteers have been able to improve habitats for local wildlife on  reserves, and work with people from all walks of life who learn practical land management skills while gaining confidence and making friends.

There are always plenty of voluntary work opportunities with the Brecknock Wildlife Trust and you don't always have to be a member.
